| Provision of RRI in connection with replacement of signaling gears for centralized operations at Ballabghar, Faridabad New town, Asaoti and Palwal stations on ‘A’ Route in Tuglakbad – Palwal Section of Delhi division of northern railway: |
The project was awarded to us in A section of ‘A’ route on Indian Railways where the maximum speed of trains is 150 kmph, fastest in India and density of passenger as well as freight trains is also very high. The project work involved design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning RRI with metal to metal contact Siemens relays after dismantling existing signaling gears at all the four stations including provision of multi sections digital axel counter. In this project Ballabhgarh and Plawal work is of large size compared to the other stations, as the work has to be commissioned station after station.
Case study for Ballabhgarh station:
Work at Ballabhgarh included dismantling of existing gears controlled by different cabins, remodeling of station yard and provision of RRI to Suit yard modeling. Dismantling of old equipments and installation, testing and commissioning of new equipments both indoor and out door under high speed traffic conditions was itself a difficult task and challenging. Our engineers took up the challenging task, planned the various phase of work and executed the entire work in sever adverse environmental conditions. |
