In the beginning, mechanical signaling was employed for controlling train movements. With the increase in number of trains, involvement of safety factor increased for train operations.
Mechanical interlocking technology came into practice to achieve a certain level of safety by interlocking mechanical points and signals. Lever frames were employed for this interlocking. These lever frames continued even after these mechanical signals were converted as colour light signals.
With our presence in this industry for over 2 decades, the earlier part of our presence in the signaling field, we were awarded projects using the above technology by our clients, which mean we started from the primitive to the latest technology in signaling. |
